Legend has it that Uncle Mart was accompanied on his trip to Florida by a brother of actor Robert Mitchum, who is purported to have been a croney of Martin's as well. The first signature on this page belongs to Ray Blades, who was the manager for the Cardinals in 1939 after a playing his whole career with them and finishing up with a .301 batting average.
